Sunset in Waikiki

Sigh, good times :) But, most likely going back.
From December 2009. :) Pretty animals!

The flamingos greet you as you step inside zoo :) Standing on one of their feet.

Tough day at the zoo. It isn’t easy!

Some wanted snacks. Didn’t get to see a blue tongue though! :(

It’s definitely trying to imitate the flamingos. Black swan!

O yum…..

Scared peacock hiding in the bushes. The children were chasing it (running around free in the zoo).

Galapagos turtle enjoying its meal. It was funny with this one because all the other ones were lined up eating the salads and carrots etc. And this one walked right towards the care taker because she had the bananas. Haha.
This one is of a brick church, the door on the side of the church.

And this one is a factory wall+roof.

Stairs bathing in the last glimpses of the sun for that day. Today we get 5 h 41 min of sunlight – it’s just really dark. I guess after all these years I am more or less used to it but it requires an otherwise active life to be able to survive it fast.
I also have a new love for brick walls because they have a great color on them. More photos of bricks will follow!

Frost is here. I visited graveyard today to pay some respect for the dead loved ones. The frost was all over and the sun shone from low angle giving me the best light again. It was really beautiful there.
